Hi, it’s nice to meet you!
I'm a bilingual yoga teacher, activist, graphic designer, and daughter of Mexican immigrants from Los Angeles, Ca. I was introduced to yoga when I was 18 years old when it was offered as a college course at Cal State San Bernardino. Struggling with lifelong anxiety, yoga is what helped me feel at home again in my own skin. With yoga in my life I felt happier, healthier, and the way I perceived the world changed. In college I didn’t realize I had a mood disorder, so the yoga was regulating my nervous system. I just knew I was angry all the time, and I wasn’t so angry anymore after yoga.
I noticed how few bilingual yoga teachers there were, so I decided to become a teacher and today have the privilege of sharing yoga with diverse communities. I'm 200 hour certified from the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health with Rina Jakubowicz in Spanish, and am passionate about sharing yoga and wellness. I'm featured on Setu.Yoga celebrating diversity in the yoga community, and am a trainer and ambassador for Handstand x Reebok. You can connect with me on Facebook, Instagram, or by email.
I look forward to practicing with you!
